JER is a DJ and vocalist from Bahia, based in Toronto. She loves connecting records that weren't meant to meet. Brazilian classics sit next to baile funk, house, disco, leftfield electronics and songs you'll probably Shazam before the night is over.

As a musician first, she DJs with feeling instead of formulas, following the room as much as the records. Every set is different, but the goal is always the same: make people dance, surprise them a little, and remind them how big Brazilian music really is.
